We women are always searching for that next best product, and always look to our favorite celebrity to give us tips to look just as fabulous as they do (as if we don't already). Well, what if you found out that some of your favorite figures were actually the masterminds behind beauty perfection? Guess what, they just might be! Supermodel Iman Mohamed Abdulmajid started Iman Cosmetics in 1994 after she had just about enough of mixing foundation colors for make-artists to properly match her distinct Somalian skin tone. The ethnic cosmetic pioneer wanted to create a product line distinctly for women of color. The line features 14 different shades, with 4 different formulations for various skin types and tones. As of 2010, Iman Cosmetics has been valued to be a $25 million business.

Beverly Johnson

Beverly Johnson has been known to dabble in everything beauty, from skin care to wig lines. But look at her, of course she has advice to give! This supermodel started her first endeavor 14 years ago being the face and name of Amekor Industries, one of the United States leading hair extension and wig producers. She took a leap a faith and decided to start her own line, partnered with Amekor, to offer the endless knowledge she learned in the industry. Her line also extends to Target, since 2010, which includes restorative hair and styling products.

Celine Dion

Known for her powerhouse vocals, Ms. Dion decided to extend herself to the cosmetic industry in 2003. Dion signed a deal with Coty Inc., to launch Celine Dion Parfums. Her latest fragrance, Signature, which was released in September 2011 grossed $850 million alone.

Cindy Crawford's skincare line, Meaningful Beauty, has gotten rave reviews from women everywhere! The model collaborated with celebrity skin specialist, Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh 10 years ago to create a skincare line.

Jennifer Lopez

Ms. Lopez has her hands in everything, including fragrances! In March of 2002, J.Lo announced that she would be going into business with the Lancaster Group, creating a fragrance and make-up line that "reflects the reflect the inspirational, confident and desirable qualities of Jennifer Lopez herself." The 2002 release of J.Lo's first fragrance, Glow by J.Lo, brought in $40 million. She has since released 16 fragrances and other products!

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson has been facing the heat lately. Since the birth of her daughter Maxwell, she has not been able to shed the pounds so easily. This, however, hasn't seemed to affect her pocketbook one bit. The 32 year songstress launched her first product line in 2004 with co-founder Randi Shinder, "Jessica Simpson Dessert by Jessica Simpson." The line included line edible perfume, lip gloss and other beauty products under the Dessert Beauty brand. Simpson also launched a hair and beauty line with stylist, Ken Paves, on the Home Shopping Network. This diva also gables in the fashion and intimates world, where she is known to be the first celebrity to reach the 1 billion dollar mark! Well excuse us Ms. Simpson.

Kardashian Sisters

Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney are three girls we love to see on television. Whether it's in their Miami storefront solving drama, or giving one another painful waxes, you know we are always entertained with these fashionable "triplets." Well, when these girls are off the screen they are helming their nail, skin, and make- up businesses full force.  One of their most successful ventures would include Kardashian Kolor by Nicole OPI. The wide array of colors can be found in Walmart and CVS going for about $7.  Also, look for the sisters' make-up like Khroma Beauty.

Kat Von D, the tattoo goddess, model, and entrepreneur does more than just create beautiful tattoos! In 2008 she launched her own make-up line for Sephora, named after the punk princess herself, "Kat Von D." She's now even expanded to fragrances.

Kimora Lee

Everyone knows that Ms. Lee Simmons is not shy about branding herself, whether it be via fashion, books, or movies! Well guess what, beauty is far from an exception for the Blasian model. This current president and creative director for "Just Fab," a website dedicated to the shoe lover, has also released  five perfumes for women: Goddess, Golden Goddess, Seductive Goddess, Baby Phat Fabulosity, Love me, and the last fragrance she released during her time with Baby Phat, Dare Me. Although Kimora is no longer with Baby Phat anymore, this hasn't stopped her desire to influence the beauty industry. She's also released a new skin care line, Shinto Clinical, which is available at Nordstrom!

Queen Latifah

Queen Latifah didn't start out so girly, but boy what a transformation a few years can bring! This COVERGIRL, wasn't always posing daintily for the camera but nothing is stopping her these days. COVERGIRL Queen Collection, is Latifah's line within COVERGIRL, catering to women of color. Although there is no word on how much the Queen Collection generates on its own, rumor has it that it is one of COVERGIRL'S top contenders!

Rihanna's musky perfume, Reb' L Fleur has customer reviews hitting the charts, with women running back to the store for more! The scent  has been described to be, "much in tune with Barbados-born Rihanna’s roots." The scent which was released in late 2010 has no sure figures to post, but with its plastered spot at your local Macy's counter, I can assume Reb 'L Fleur  contributes quite well to her $60 million dollar net worth!

Salma Hayak

This bronzed beauty is doing more than making big screen debuts, Ms. Hayak has also taken to the CVS shelves in hopes of showing her beauty knowledge. In 2011, the Mexican American movie star released, Nuance, a cosmetic line producing skin and hair care products. The star was inspired by her Grandmother to create the line after watching her create her own facial products for years.

Victoria Principal

So who is Victoria Principal you ask? Well, besides being a actress and entrepreneur, Ms. Principal is also a skincare connoisseur. Known for her role as Pamela Barnes Ewing on the CBS nighttime soap opera Dallas from 1978 to 1987, Victoria took to skin care in 1989 and created a  self-named line of skin care products, Principal Secret, which has amassed over $1 billion in sales to date!

Lauren Hutton

Lauren Hutton, the American model who is known for her roles in  American Gigolo and Lassiter, decided to give make-up formulation a try after returning to modeling at the age of 46! She wanted to create make-up that enhanced her natural beauty, without masking it. Her line includes, but is not limited to:  lipstick, moisturizers, blush and makeup brushes. Hutton's line also address skin tones of various shades from pink, yellow, olive, and brown.

Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen

The Olsen Twins, known both for their cute debuts in various sitcoms and their drug related scandals in the early 2000's these twins have also decided they could help out in the make-up industry. The dual stars have created a line that compliments teen and tween skin types. Their advice for teens, "Use shades closer to your natural skin tone to compliment your natural beauty." You can find the array of shimmering lip glosses and flesh-tone eye shadows online, or in local stores.
