Kiss that Kimora Lee TV drought goodbye because mama is coming back to television soon!
The mogul was recently announced as online fashion retailer JustFab’s president and creative director. All the time Kimora was overseeing the site’s release of cute, trendy styles at affordable prices, we were waiting in the cut for a television show and now the announcement has been made.
The show titled Kimora: House of Fab, will be a nod to her previous hit reality show centered around her role at Baby Phat and family life with Russell Simmons, Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane. However, if you were hoping to see the inner workings of the relationship between her and Djimon Hounsou, we’re sorry to report the show will focus on the company and not Simmons’ personal life.
“My businesses have evolved a bit. My former life is gone. I have sold all of those companies from my prior life, and my new project is JustFab.com. This is all about fashion and the tech sector, and how I have married fashion to the tech aspect, and that’s a big thing,” said Simmons. “This is an office environment with more of an ensemble. It is more like ‘The Office’ or ‘Ugly Betty.’ It is a team of people at all times, with lots of coming and going. It is less of my kids and my personal side.”
As Kimora has stressed that this show will be educational and the fact that so many different high level members of the JustFab team will be on it, we think this will be must-see TV for all fashion hopefuls.
Kimora: House of Fab premieres Jan. 23 at 9 p.m. on the Style Network. Check your local listings for details.
