As society progresses, more and more entertainers are coming out in support of gay and lesbian causes. But what about the grey area that is bisexuality? The often marginalized lifestyle does have its supporters and symbols in the ranks of Hollywood. To prove it, here are 15 celebs who have been labeled or who have self-identified as bisexual at one point in their public lives.
Mick Jagger has long been rumored to be bisexual, supposedly having affairs David Bowie, Eric Clapton, and founding Rolling Stones member Brian Jones. The Who guitarist Pete Townshend has also suggested he’s had an affair with Jagger in a Rolling Stone interview, though a liaison between the two is not entirely confirmed in his recent autobiography.
Though Bowie went through a period of his career where he depicted himself as gay (after “outing” himself in a 1972 interview), he later admitted it to be a lie. Bowie, who is also rumored to have had a longstanding affair with Mick Jagger, remains a happily married bisexual man (pictured with his wife, Iman, above).
