Model turned fashion mogul Tyra Banks took the fashion world by storm in the early 1990s by being the first African American model to appear on the covers of GQ and Sports Illustrated and was one of the original Angels for Victoria’s Secret. Since then, she has became the creator and host of America’s Next Top Model, hosted her own talk show The Tyra Banks Show and started numerous successful fashion ventures.
Tyra is even in the works of a new comedy, Fivehead, about her awkward years as a teenager. Keeping her hands in many pots, Tyra still works it out as a model from time to time, and recently did a cover shoot for Cosmopolitan South Africa.
