Before They Were Famous: Can You Tell These NBA Stars From Their Yearbook Photos?

These NBA stars are now making millions of dollars and I am quite sure some of them are wishing they could get rid of some of these yearbook photos. We all hated picture day at school, but our parents loved them and got us all done up for that day. No matter what, something bad always happened in the photo and you were never allowed a second chance. Sit, smile and move on! The following is what happens when we look back on old yearbooks. These are NBA Stars Yearbook Photos!

???

Maybe this future NBA star knew money was in his future? He is trying to look all bad in this picture, but I'm sure he could take that picture now and have even bigger bills in his hand! Who is it?

Kevin Durant

That would be Kevin Durant from the Oklahoma City Thunder. Durant hit the scene during the 2007-08 season as a rookie for the Seattle SuperSonics. He went on to win Rookie of the Year and has since won three NBA scoring titles and was on the U.S. Men's Basketball Team that won gold in London this past summer.

???

A smirk and all from this mini-NBA star. He was still growing then, but he grew up to be a star in the NBA and a very widely known person outside of the league. Who is it?

Carmelo Anthony

That would be Carmelo Anthony from the New York Knicks. Melo has been one popular player in the NBA and got his start during the 2003-04 season with the Denver Nuggets. He helped them to the playoffs every year from 2004 to 2010 before being traded to the Knicks in 2011. He is married to TV personality La La Anthony and their ceremony was aired on VH1.

???

Is that a unibrow we are seeing on this future NBA star? He looks so young and innocent, but check out that bling around his neck. Who is it?

Chris Paul

That would be Chris Paul from the Los Angeles Clippers. He started out with the New Orleans Hornets, who drafted him in 2005. He went on to win Rookie of the Year honors and has been an All-Star five times and won two gold medals with the U.S. Men's Basketball Team. He was supposed to be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, but the league nullified that trade and he later was traded to the Clippers in 2011 and he is still there.

This NBA star was dunking back in high school. He was voted as a Mr. Basketball in Texas and has gone on to shine in the NBA. Who is it?

That would be Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat. He started his NBA career when he was drafted by the Toronto Raptors back in 2003. He has been a five-time All-Star and helped lead the Raptors to the playoffs. He came a free agent in 2010 and after being sought after by many teams, he joined the Miami Heat along with LeBron James. It was a dream team destined for the NBA title, which they finally won this past season.

???

Apparently this future NBA star likes the color green? It would be a trend of his for a while to come, but I think he lost that bow tie along the way. Who is it?

Paul Pierce

That would be Paul Pierce from the Boston Celtics. Pierce was drafted by the Celtics in 1998 and has stayed with them ever since. He has been an All-Star ten times now and helped lead Boston to the NBA Finals in 2008 and 2010 and winning it all in 2008. He was also named the MVP of the 2008 NBA Finals.

Even in high school this future NBA star was putting the moves on people on the court. He went from the high school basketball courts to becoming one of the most popular players in the NBA. Who is it?

He made the All-Star team his first eight seasons and has led the Heat to championships in 2006 and 2012. He was the 2006 NBA Finals MVP and for two seasons he led the league in jersey sales. People like this guy!

???

This player was towering over the other players, even in high school. He was a McDonald's All-American in high school and even won a national player of the year award. Who is it?

Kevin Garnett

That would be Kevin Garnett from the Boston Celtics. Garnett was drafted in the 1995 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves and was the first player drafted directly out of high school in 20 years. He proved to be a big asset for the team, as he led them to eight consecutive playoff appearances. KG spent 12 seasons with the Timberwolves before being traded to the Celtics in 2007. In his first season, he led the Celtics to the championship ring.
