“G.I. Jane is back!” Diem Brown is the true definition of a superwoman. We met Diem on MTV’s Real World/Road Rules Challenge, and her bubbly personality, spirit and good heart made her a fan favorite almost immediately. She faced her fear of heights in outlandish challenges, and even had a romance with veteran hottie, C.T. Not only did we love her as much as one of our girls, we were also struck by her story, as she battled ovarian cancer. As Diem fights for the second time, she’s bravely documented her journey on a blog for PEOPLE Magazine. She’s opened up her world to not only give her fans a better understanding, but to provide others battling cancer a safe and honest blueprint for the journey ahead.
This week, Diem has something extra special to share! In the latest PEOPLE issue, she sheds her scarf for the very first time in an emotional shoot. She fight back tears and breathes through her fears in the beginning, but later playfully flings her scarf, and strikes silly faces for the camera in the gorgeous spread. We love seeing Diem’s many sides, and she gives us the hope and courage to live fully in the moment every day. And we see you in those shoes, Miss Lady!
