As Jay-Z rocked out with Coldplay on New Year’s Eve night, the proud papa declared 2012 “The Year of Blue.” Simultaneously his wife dazzled in Las Vegas, making it clear that 2013 is surely gearing up to be the “The Year of King B.” A lucky audience of 700 were treated to an intimate Beyoncé show at the Wynn Hotel in Vegas on New Year’s Eve. Beyoncé showed off her post-baby body and swag in a studded pinstripe corset. She posted photos from the night on Tumblr, along with a New Year’s note for her fans.
Consider the concert Bey’s inaugural start to 2013. She’s gearing up to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, new music and the premiere of her HBO documentary.
