New York Knicks captain Carmelo Anthony and the Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett had a verbal showdown on the court earlier this week after Garnett allegedly said Anthony’s wife, La La Anthony, “tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios.” Dozens of memes quickly surfaced on Instagram, including the one below, with La La as the cereal brand’s star bee.
La La even uploaded a Tweetgram today stating: “Not for nothing. But we all deserve a check or some free cereal for all the publicity we’ve given Honey Nut Cheerios!!!! LOL #CantBelieveEverything.”
We’re not sure what La La tastes like, but with her glowing complexion, yellow and gold tones are definitely a good look for her.
