As the media has helped us discover that several celebrities are just plain douche bags, it has also shown us that many celebs also have terrible anger issues.
Whether they're having violent outbursts recorded on tape, getting arrested for assault, or throwing a little hissy fit these 15 celebrities should probably consider taking a leave of absence and going straight to anger management.
Alec is what we like to call a "'rage-aholic." His most popular episodes include pitching a fit on an airplane after being asked to turn off his cell phone game and leaving an angry voicemail for his 12-year-old daughter in 2007, calling her a “rude thoughtless little pig.”
When you’ve already gotten a completely eviscerated public image and rap sheet for physically abusing your superstar ex-girlfriend, and are attempting to ingratiate yourself back into the public’s good graces, destroying a green room on a hugely popular morning show, brawling with other hip-hop artists in nightclubs, and engaging every single Twitter beef that comes your way isn’t the best way to prove you're a changed man who’s gotten help for his anger issues.
Both of Charlie’s ex wives (Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller) have publicly claimed that Charlie got rough with them and threatened their lives. Charlie himself indirectly admitted to needing anger management when he became the lead actor on his show Anger Management.
Campbell has been assaulting people since 1998, with a highly publicized case in 2000 for assaulting her personal assistant with a cell phone, a 2007 case for assaulting her housekeeper, and finally another incident in 2008 in which she spit on two police officers at a London airport. She says she realizes now that her behavior was wrong, and has supposedly gotten help for her anger problems.
Bale might be taking his job a little too seriously. While shooting an intense scene for Terminator Salvation in 2009 the actor berated the director of photography for walking onto the set and breaking his concentration. Bale flew into a tirade, cursing at, threatening, and belittling him. It was all recorded and leaked to the media. The actor later apologized, calling his behavior “inexcusable.” The incident went on to become comedy gold for late night TV, Family Guy, and even musicians.
Mel Gibson is a prime example of what can happen when alcohol takes over your life. Tragically, his alcoholic addiction has transformed a once attractive and well respected actor/director into a late night TV punchline. These days Mel is more known for drunken, belligerent, bigoted outbursts and violent behavior than his work.
Courtney is known for getting arrested…a lot. The troubled rocker was arrested and charged with felony assault for attacking a woman sleeping on her ex-boyfriend and manager’s couch in 2004 with a bottle and a flashlight. Just another day for Court Love.
In 2005 Grace was escorted off a train in Europe for assaulting the train manager and cursing her out in French. The eccentric singer's most famous hissy fit, however, was in 1981 when she repeatedly slapped a British TV show host because he kept turning his back on her to speak to another guest.
Tyson has had so many assault cases brought against him over the last decade and a half we can’t keep up. Just Google him if you want a list…
Crowe was charged with 2nd degree assault for throwing a telephone at the concierge of a New York hotel when he refused to help the actor dial a number that he was not able to dial from his room. Crowe was also charged with 4th degree criminal possession of a weapon. The weapon was the telephone, if you were wondering.

Ochocinco flew into a fit of rage during an argument with his now ex-wife Evelyn Lozada in summer 2012 and headbutted her. When things go from words to headbutts, yeah, time to get some help.
The British star reportedly loses it when his demands aren’t met on set and when those around him just don’t seem to agree with everything he says. There's a name for that: Diva.
Sean Penn apparently has a thing for photographers. In 1987 he assaulted a photographer on the set of a film, and then again in 2009 he approached and kicked a photographer, breaking the man's camera. The latter incident was caught on camera by TMZ.

Rosie really seemed mad at the world in recent years. Between her very heated arguments with co-host Elizabeth Hasslebeck on The View, quitting the show, and trashing Barbara Walters we weren’t really sure what was going on, but in 2011 O'Donnell told Oprah she was a victim of hormonal imbalance. Turns out all she need was a little estrogen. Hmmm…would that help Mike Tyson?
Kid Rock (real name Bob Ritchie) pleaded no contest to punching a DJ at a Nashville strip club back in 2005 . Then there was the incident in 2007 when he punched Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee during the VMA's to which he pleaded guilty, and just one month later, Rock was involved in a brawl at an Atlanta Waffle House, an incident to which he pleaded, you guessed it, no contest!
