Rafael Cennamo presented an elegant collection for Fall 2013, filled with beautiful gold gowns draped, ruched, and gathered for optimal drama. The Hall of Mirrors—the central gallery in the Palace of Versaille located in France—served as his inspiration behind the “21 Shades of Gold” collection. Each gown was highly textured and extremely detailed with a variety of styles and lengths.

The couture collection was glamorous, majestic and very feminine with the plunging necklines, perfectly fitted bodices and mermaid-style gowns. The collection also included long evening coats with gold leggings that brought edge to the elegant line-up. Rafael Cennamo worked intricacy into every piece. The Bobbi Brown makeup brought the drama with smoky eyes, gold metal eyebrows and bright red lips. The base color for the nails was Zoya’s Angelina and the gold topcoat was named after Rafael’s mother “Maria Luisa” to complement his collection.
