Vivienne Tam had a theme and kept to it for her Fall 2013 presentation at Lincoln Center on Sunday. The proud Chinese designer known for stylishly incorporating her culture into high-fashion, had a solid collection of dramatic ensembles aided by the red lights in honor of Chinese New Year.
A lot of the collection was military inspired with structured coats, cargo pockets and fatigue prints. Chinese lettering, bold red pieces and stark blacks gave each piece a strong masculine look. What was most interesting was her use of technology with QR codes printed on several pieces.
