Naeem Khan opened his fall 2013 show with familiar black and white prints, which gave us flashbacks to spring 2013. But fluffy neck bows, bowed sashes, and the generous use of red and blue velvets quickly set the scene for fall. The overall aesthetic for the collection seemed to be opulence. Models walked the runway in a variety of flowing caftans, gowns and cocktail dresses embellished with metallic florals and firework bursts, paisley prints, and Indian motifs. However, what really polished off the luxurious line was Khan’s svelte, crystal adorned gowns, and 1920s inspired hair—side-parted, slicked down, and pulled back into tight chignons.
Check out Naeem Khan’s Indian-inspired opulence for fall 2013 below.
