What better way to have ended this New York Fashion Week than to brighten the stage with a sun suspended from the ceiling while models stomped down the catwalk wearing a hot collection? That’s exactly what Marc Jacobs did as he closed New York Fashion Week with with his 8pm fall 2013 show.  The collection was filled with shirt dresses, cable-knit sweaters, silk pajamas, tailored blazers and vests, and fox fur coats, which weren’t out of the ordinary. But when the plaid in the pjs sparkled, the sequin in the dresses changed from navy to burgundy to gold, tailored blazers and hot pants simmered, in between fox fur dresses, one can only think that Jacobs struck gold with this collection. Talk about saving the best for last.

Take a look at the brilliant collection below and tell us if you’ll be glistening in any garments come fall.
