Marni is known for its use of fur, play with silhouettes, and base color palette of beige, gray, blue—elements present in their fall 2013 collection. But the line also featured a lot of masculine appeal. The monochrome collection featured sleek cut flannels and tweeds paired with riding boots. But it was the bustiers, pleating and corseting that shows the collection’s feminine side. Marni’s pieces—along with Alexander Wang and Fendi—also proved that 2013 will be the year of the fur, as models walked the runway in fur boots, gloves, stoles, coats, bags, hems and coat collars. PETA should probably start planning their fall campaign now because designers are filling their collections with fur with no remorse.
Take a look at the tailored and fur-filled collection below and let us know if you like the mix between the two.
