Diary Of A Traveling Man: Miguel Logs Fashion For ‘The New York Times’

It’s hard not to notice Miguel. First he caught our ears with his music, and then our eyes with his downtown chic style. The Grammy Award winner is currently embarking on a world tour with Alicia Keys. He journaled his fashion choices for The New York Times, as he traveled on a weeklong trip from Los Angeles to South Africa. Fittingly, he opts for a “rock-star business mogul look” inspired by some of his favorite musicians: John Lennon Ray-Bans and jewelry from The Great Frog, a brand behind Led Zeppelin’s rock star bling.

Although he lists a slew of our favorite designers, he mentions staple pieces, including a familiar fave from his father:

“On the schedule: radio and a more intimate show for the mayor of Pretoria. But I woke up with a slight headache and an “I don’t really care” attitude thanks to last night’s success and epic post-show revelries. It was a mild day, mood- and weather-wise, which made me happy that I packed my favorite denim jacket. It used to be my dad’s and it’s worn in, and out, quite awesomely.”
