Jeffrey Campbell is ready to walk down the aisle with you, with his popular platform. It was not so long ago that we saw “Lita” shoes on nearly every style blogger and fashion aficionado in the world (maybe not the world, but it seemed like it).
For those of you still fiending for more of the retro heel feel, The Cold Feet collection might be perfect for your wedding. The platforms are available in four styles, along with two heels and two loafers.
Through a partnership between the designer and Asbury Skies e-retailer, each shoe has a distinct rocker-romantic look. “This exclusive collection ditches the concept of traditional bridal shoes in favor of edgy, less fussy styles,” the campaign ad says. “Couples are choosing to get hitched in backyards, urban gardens, on beaches… we knew it was time for a wedding shoe collection made with these women in mind.”
Truthfully, the shoes stick in our crawl in the worst way. Call us traditionalists. But it does make great business sense.
For those of you into this look, here’s where to buy. Not getting married? What better shoe to wear when dressing up as ‘like a virgin’ Madonna for that next costume party.
