Respected makeup artist Sam Fine was recently tapped to be Fashion Fair’s new Creative Director. Sam will be overseeing the development of all of Fashion Fair’s products as well as launch a signature collection, “Sam Fine For Fashion Fair” sometime in 2012. This is a great move for Fashion Fair, as Sam has over 20 years as a makeup artist working with Queen Latifah, Iman, Tyra Banks, Jennifer Hudson and so many more with also a cult following of his instructional DVD, Fine: The Basics of Beauty and his “how to beauty book”, Fine Beauty: Beauty Basics and Beyond for African American Women.
Fashion Fair has been the one cosmetic line that has been around the longest and has always catered to black women’s beauty needs even when other brands didn’t want to acknowledge brown women, not to mention it being the largest black owned beauty business around.
