H&M is becoming the premiere destination for high end designer collaborations. French designer Isabel Marant has announced a surprise partnership with H&M, set to premiere on November 14. Fashionable names like Karl Lagerfeld, Maison Martin Margiela, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli and Versace (just to name a few) have already created lines for the retailer, and now it’s added one more heavy hitter to the roster.
Isabel Marant’s designs are the epitome of chic, blending effortless style and just a hint of attitude. The in-demand designer expressed her excitement in a statement from H&M:
“I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honor. I aim at creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look s*xy.”
With worldwide appeal (and huge endorsements from the likes of Beyoncé and more A-listers), this collection is sure to sell out in minutes. We’re just hoping we can snag something before the website crashes!
