There are certain designers that are your go-to brands for London Fashion Week. Alexander McQueen & Richard James may immediately may land on the top of your list. For this recent Spring 2014 season, there are brands that just may have earned their place on your radar. Although challenge and awe may not be the words to describe London’s latest looks, a few favorites can be described as fresh takes on Britain’s classics.
Like Prada’s Autumn/Winter 13 dedication to color stories, Burberry brought on bright colors to their signature cuts to London. Unlike Burberry’s usual luxurious undertone, Christopher Bailey went for a more demure approach focusing on primary colors, funky eyewear and traditional boat shoes. Although this season holds no candle to it’s previous fall collection of texture and bold cut jackets, the brand showcased very cool & easy looks that any man can adopt.
