The beauty of Pinky Otto is that it packs a whole lotta punch in a teeny space. The bubblegum pink exterior frames the petite all-white shop and the fuzzy teddy bear-headed mannequins beckon you to take a closer look. The Sunday that we popped in the store was rather packed with post-brunch browsers but the polite shop girl maintained a welcoming demeanor. The glossy white walls of this shop are populated with dresses, belts, bags and a jumble of jewels. The racks are tightly packed with well selected pieces from the in-house brand. The color coded merchandising makes navigating the many party dresses, from lacy hippy to color-blocked mod to 90s spandex florals, all the more easy. Pinky Otto’s design team though relatively unknown, has a great way of encompassing a variety of today’s trends, this shows through sheer breadth of their offerings. Surely if it’s the simplicity of a new frock for spring that you seek, then Pinky Otto is definitely the place to start your search.
