Rihanna knows how to sell just about anything! From her Budweiser commercial, World Tour, clothing line with River Island and MAC makeup collection you would think the Pop Princess has enough to promote. Not quite, she has launched her latest fragrance, “Rogue by Rihanna,” which will be available in Macy’s, Dillard’s and Belk come Fall. In an interview with WWD, she stated that the scent is a “flirty, sen-sual Oriental” with a mixture of lemon blossom, jasmine, vanilla and others. The fragrance is in a glass bottle with inverted spikes, and will range from $18 to $69 with a limited-edition clutch, bag and studded fashion bracelets.
The seductive black and white image of Rihanna for the fall fragrance campaign was shot by Mario Sorrenti and styled by Mel Ottenberg—need we say more? A simple black slip and Rihanna’s half-shaved blonde hair was all that was needed to reflect the campaign’s message of evolution. She stated, “People are always changing and evolving and with Rogue I wanted to switch it up to reflect who I am today. I made it for all women, for every mood, because we all want to project our true selves.”
