In Brooklyn, local activists, politicians and residents gathered at Borough Hall to show their upset for the verdict and sign a NAACP petition to pursue federal civil rights chargers. In the mix was Solange Knowles, who was very vocal on Twitter about the case. Blending in with the crowd in a crop top and cutoff shorts, she sat on the steps of the courthouse and spoke to the crowd of a few hundred.
