During Fashion Week, T.I.’s clothing brand AKOO (A King Of One’s Self) took over EZ Studios in midtown Manhattan to show off their new looks for Winter 2011/Spring 2012.
From when the brand first launched to its current incarnation, we can certainly see that there’s been a lot of evolution and design growth. Hot male and female models walked the runway sporting varsity style sweaters and leathers, cool preppy cardigans and a wide array of denim in a variety of cuts and washes. We also saw quite a few cargo pants and camouflage trousers we loved which were were cut with loose but not excessively baggy fits. Overall, the apparel didn’t disappoint.
Standout guests in the crowd included TV personality, former New Jersey Housewife , Danielle Staub, and the funky violinist duo known as “Nuttin But Stringz” started off the night with a high-energy performance. Styleblazer was on hand to capture all the looks and styles, and we even got some airtime with AkOO’s Creative Director, Ralph Reynolds.
