Alicia Keys appeared on “Good Morning America” as a part of their summer concert series donning a new look that got mixed reviews. For the show, she sang a melody of classic Keys tunes and even brought out Maxwell to perform “Fire We Make.” After having a successful tour this year, she’s refocused to bring attention to her “Empowered” HIV awareness campaign.

There must have been so much positive energy around Alicia that she felt the need to do something bold. So, she cut her hair. She tweeted the new look saying,”Feelin fresh and feelin the love this morning!” But unlike her contemporary, Beyoncé, the reaction has not been good.

Cut into a classic bowl shape, her hairstylist essentially tapered her back/edges and cropped the front into an above eye bang. If you ask us, it’s bold, fashionable and very edgy. But if you ask her many fans you’d get a plethora of so-so comments.

Truth be told, she doesn’t give a f**k about these people’s rants. If their opinions mattered, she would have consulted them before getting the hair cut but she didn’t, so you know many deranged stans and haters are mad about that lol.

  2. says:

Alicia’s hair looks cute any way she wears it. Her cut looks a lot better than Beyonce’s who looks like she let Blu Ivy cut her hair. ijs.

  3. says:

    Love the cut

She truly should have come to Hand On By Erica, in Philly she would have rocked a great cut for Ms.Keys, but your hair looks ok it’s just an old style
