Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week Spring 2014 Round Up: Day 2

NYFW Day 2 Recap: The 90’s Return For Another Round

After day two of Fashion Week, we could already tell New York is all about bringing the 90s back. Slouchy sweaters, baggy pants, crop tops and overalls were all seen in updated styles, and brands who are known for their tomboy aesthetic such as Rag & Bone and Helmut Lang, added femininity to their spring collections to balance the moods of Jason Wu and Cushnie et Ochs. Looks like women will be able to be both girly and tomboyish next spring as they’ll be able to mix leather pieces with silk, or embroidered pieces with prints.

Take a look at a few of the shows below for a recap of  what you’ve missed. Two days down, six more to go.
