After day two of Fashion Week, we could already tell New York is all about bringing the 90s back. Slouchy sweaters, baggy pants, crop tops and overalls were all seen in updated styles, and brands who are known for their tomboy aesthetic such as Rag & Bone and Helmut Lang, added femininity to their spring collections to balance the moods of Jason Wu and Cushnie et Ochs. Looks like women will be able to be both girly and tomboyish next spring as they’ll be able to mix leather pieces with silk, or embroidered pieces with prints.
