NYFW Day 6 Recap: Designers Put The Sports In Sportswear

NYFW Day 6 Recap: Designers Put The Sports In Sportswear

Women’s sportswear could mean a number of things. Clothing worn while playing sports, lace dresses, organza sweatshirts or jeans and a t-shirt. For next spring, there are a few designers who want us to fell comfortable while looking chic. This could be the ’90s influence on designers this season, or the desire to have their runway pieces worn by women other than celebrities and those in the fashion industry. Who knows? All we could say is that we’re loving Narciso Rodriguez high-hemmmed skorts, J.Crew’s relaxed chicness and Marc by Marc Jacobs sporty pieces that are giving us an updated high school jockey look. We don’t mind looking our best with little effort, so sporty has our names written all over it.

Take a look at our day six round up below to determine if you’re feeling sporty.
