Trend Report: The Top Spring 2014 Color Trends

Trend Report: Some Old, Some New, Spring 2014 Offers Many Hues

We’re not sure what colors Pantone will forecast as trends for next Spring, but we could make a few predictions from this season’s shows. There’s usually a lot of color shown during the Spring shows, but there were a lot of neutrals shown this time around with the exception of a few pastel tones. Sounds like you’ve heard it all before, but if you didn’t noticed this trend last season, monochromic looks are in like never before. Fashion houses such as Max Mara, Burberry and Ralph Lauren all produced collections filled with head-to-toe solid color looks; while others just injected the it colors into their collections as per their liking.

Take a look at our roundup below to see which of these Spring 2014 color trends you’ll be rocking a lot or a little next season.

We’re still going to be seeing black and white next Spring, though maybe in smaller doses than this year. If you’re not willing to try printed pieces such as this Proenza Schouler dress, go for the traditional Erdem and Altuzarra look.
