Envelope pusher, Jean Paul Gaultier, is at it again, pushing the boundaries of fashion one step further. According to Vogue News, the French designer is set to launch a couture clothing line for children. The collection, which is said to have been inspired by his Spring 2013 Haute Couture women’s collection, will consist of “a limited run of 90 pieces” that are updated every six month.
The pint size dress– available in ivory and pink– are made for little princesses with a silk bodice, tulle skirt and an accompanying bolero adorned with Swarovski crystals. The price tag is also royal, each dress is price at $1,200. But when you think about it, that sounds like a bargain for couture Gaultier.
