The ever vocal rapper, Kanye West, is no stranger to controversy— we would go as far as to say he courts it. During the last few months he has gone on multiple rants, which ran the gamut of expressing his dissatisfaction with Barneys, tight jeans and interviews to shading FLOTUS.
The latest unsuspecting soul to feel the wrath of Yeezus is Zappos’ CEO, Tony Hsieh. During an interview with Bret Easton Ellis, the rapper used the platform as an opportune time to air his grievances. “I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos”, he said. “He’s trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this s–t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling s–t product.”
Now, we know what you are thinking. Kanye mouthing off isn’t news anymore, he does that every time he opens his mouth. But the best part of this beef (if you can even call it that) was Tony Hsieh’s response. With the most comical comeback to end all comebacks, Hsieh posted a picture of a sh-t product (a plunger in a toilet bowl) on Zappos for sale. The best part would have to be Zappos’ product description: “Interested in buying sh-t product? You’ve come to the right place! Here at Zappos.com, we happily sell sh-t products to everybody! This is the throne, everyone has been watching. Whether you’re #1 or #2, your clique will show no mercy, even in Paris. The perfect gift for the man that has everything. Requires lots of “focus” for most productive use.”
The comments in the review section are equally as funny. Some of our favorite being, “This Sh-t product is amazing! It totally beats out any new music videos you’re Bound 2 see!!”; “Yo Zappos!
