It wasn’t that long ago that the Telegraph broke the news that Kate Moss would indeed pose for Playboy’s 60th Anniversary issue. Last month she shot the cover with photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and the January/February 2014 issue is set to hit newsstands this Friday, December 6. Can’t wait that long? Fashionista reports that Playboy.com is offering an early digital download.
Last night on Instagram, Mert & Marcus decided to give eager fans a taste of what’s to come and released two images of Kate’s cover. It looks like the duo honored the magazine’s history by having Kate pose in the iconic Playboy bunny outfit–aka the bunny suit that waitresses used to wear at the famed Playboy Clubs, which were originally open from 1968-1988.
It’s shaping up to be a big week for Moss–tonight she’ll be receiving a special recognition award from the British Fashion Council, and then head straight to the Marc Jacobs-hosted Playboy 60th Anniversary party where she’ll no doubt be the belle (or the bunny) of the ball.
