Once again fashion has proven that if you’re Caucasian, thin and famous, you have a very real chance of being the face of a brand. Kristen Stewart will do just that for Chanel.
It was announced last night at the Fair Park, Dallas’ Art Deco exhibition where Karl Lagerfeld showed his pre-fall collection inspired by the old west. The show was a part of Lagerfeld’s Metiers d’Art traveling fashion show.
The 23-year-old star was on site, dressed in pieces from the collection, to make the announcement. Past faces of the brand have been Blake Lively, Keira Knightley and Diane Kruger.
Stewart, an unlikely face in our opinion, starred in the last iteration of the “Twilight” saga last year. And was also involved in a messy affair with married director, Rupert Sanders. Nonetheless she got the gig. So mazel.
