The classic Coca-Cola can and bottle are both iconic images in their own right. Since Coca-Cola was introduced in the United States in 1886, it’s become a bona-fide accessory in American culture, and internationally as well.  In the fashion world specifically, one could argue that Diet Coke is the fashionista’s soda of choice. Recognizing said fact, Coca-Cola has over the years reached out to various fashion designers to create their own interpretations of the iconic Diet Coke look.

Last year, Rob Bayne, a senior brand manager for Diet Coke, said of the collaborations, “Fashion is a top interest of our fans so we started designer collaborations to create something new and exciting for our drinkers.” Bayne’s got it right; limited-edition designer collections are indeed always fun and exciting to talk about, and the newest Diet Coke collaboration doesn’t disappoint.

For the upcoming Valentine’s Day 2014 holiday, WWD reports that Diet Coke (Coca-Cola Light, abroad) has partnered with French lingerie designer Chantal Thomass on a limited-edition lingerie-inspired collection of cans and aluminum bottles. Sadly Chantal’s collection will only be for sale in France starting at the end of the month, so you’ll have to be calling your buddies in Paris if you want to keep one as a collector’s item.

Chantal Thomass’s can not your favorite? Fear not, we’ve got 11 other Diet Coke-fashion designer collaborations from past years to browse. While these aren’t currently on the market, let their color and whimsy start off your weekend on the right foot.
