Nicole Richie, recently named “Influencer Of The Year’ by the Accessories Council Excellence Awards for her beloved label House of Harlow, has always had this witty, charismatic, “I Don’t Give A F” attitude about her and we love it.
Now she is beyond her reality TV, Paris Hilton days and is a full on business woman. Being laid back and sort of a hippie has served this designer, mom, and wife well. Always doing it her way, she confesses to WWD, “It’s not that deep for me. It’s whatever I feel comfortable in at that time”, on her personal style. That laid back persona displayed in her own style is reflected in her House of Harlow brand consisting of jewelry, footwear, sunglasses, and handbags too.
Nicole is in no rush to expand upon the brand and has always taken her time to build the brand patiently, stating, “With everything I do, I want to make sure that I take the time and make each category the best that it can be. I tend to move very slowly and I do that on purpose so that I can make sure that everything that I design really is the best version of what it is.” Clearly this influencer knows what it takes to have longevity and her dedication to her customers, is really makes her a standout businesswoman. “To me, success isn’t measured by dollar signs,”she explains. “It’s really about paying attention to feedback and talking to my customer.”, says Nicole. And that’s exactly why we love her.
