Alexander Wang Moves to SoHo

Wunderkind Designer Alexander Wang Moves to SoHo

New York’s prince of downtown opened his flagship store on the corner of Manhattan’s Grand Street earlier this year.  Wang, 27, transformed the massive space, formerly home to designer Yohji Yamamoto, into a cool-kid fashion oasis, with the help of interior designer Ryan Korban.   A luxurious fur hammock hangs in the center of the shop, surrounded by a black leather couch and brass coffee table but more importantly, racks and racks of high-fashion Alexander Wang street wear is everywhere!  Studded lambskin handbags and woodstack double platform booties decorate the walls and bench like tables–be prepared to drool. Even if you can’t afford the California native’s pricey collection, the swank boutique is well worth a visit. Check it out!
