Even though March is about to be over, it still feels like it was only just January, with us in the throes of our European menswear show coverage. Fashion months, awards season, and hopefully the worst of this year’s cold weather have already zipped past us. As we’re coming up on the end of the first quarter, we’re reflecting back on one thing we noticed: Pharrell is making us all look lazy.

So far for 2014 it seems that the world has truly been Pharrell’s oyster. From stealing all of the airtime on the radio with his “Happy” hit, to all of the menswear red carpet chatter with his sartorial choices, we count down 10 things the artist has already accomplished in the first three months of 2014.

Here’s to 10 more!

1. Collaborated with Peace Love World on t-shirts.

In the latest tale of Pharrell taking over the world, the artist launched a collection of tees with Peace Love World on the International Day of Happiness, which was March 20. He’s the first celebrity to do a collaboration with the brand, and will be selling the shirts at Billionaire Boys Club as well as online.

2. Debuted Vivienne Westwood hat in Hollywood.

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, Pharrell has been trotting around the globe with a steady trove of Vivienne Westwood bucket-like mountain hats on heavy rotation. Occasionally he allows them to walk the carpet alone like at the BRIT Awards and other times he lends his hat out to friends.

3. Debuted a limited-edition Uniqlo collaboration.

500 T-shirts are sure to go fast, but that’s all that Pharrell decided to do with his UNIQLO collaboration. Pre-order for the tees went up last Friday but never fear, in addition to the tees, a full line-up of the collaboration drops on on March 31.

4. Made recyclable jeans with G-Star Raw.

In the midst of New York Fashion Week, the artist announced a capsule collection with G-Star Raw, courtesy of his Creative Director position at Bionic Yarn. The collection is a denim one under the name of RAW for the Oceans. Look for it this August.

5. Announced “Girl” Fragrance with Comme Des Garçons.

A definite winner with the women–anyone else remember how Lupita, Amy Adams and Merryl Streep danced for him at the Oscars –Pharrell announced a unisex fragrance that he’d be releasing with Comme Des Garçons. The collaboration is the first time Comme Des Garçons has ever collaborated with a musician, but we all know Pharrell isn’t just a musician. Look for it this September.

6. Released “Girl” album.

Pharrell released his second album “Girl” this month. The cover art featured the artist himself wearing Thom Browne aviators with three female models wearing his latest collaboration with Moncler Lunettes.

7. Advocated for good skin care.

As speculations about Pharrell’s skin regimen continued to drone on–yes, we heard the one about baby’s blood, too-the artist took to Angie Martinez’s radio show to reveal the simplicity of the truth: a wash a day keeps the wrinkles away. Though he did concede that his genes are a help, a once a day wash with cold water and some Cetaphil keeps him looking rejuvenated.

8. Slid between the sheets for W.

Among the many names that W tapped for a slightly sultry and definitely sexy spread–Ciara, Miley Cyrus, and Riccardo Tisci were some of the others–Williams, too, shed his shirt and ducked between the sheets for a shoot with the magazine.

9. Worn shorts to the Oscars.

Though they might have been Lanvin and others might refer to them as culottes, when we see a spade we call it a spade: Pharrell wore shorts to the Oscars. Though they were nicely tailored shorts, the fact is: Pharrell wore shorts to the Oscars.

10. Sold his hat to Arby’s for $44,000.

After racking up quite a bit of press for its appearances, one of Pharrell’s hats found itself in the presence of its “rightful” owner for a smooth $44,100. With proceeds going to charity, Arby’s snapped up the piece in an eBay auction.
