One weekend down, one weekend to go. Coachella’s 2014 reign is halfway through, and already we’ve seen a heck of a lot of action. Beyonce made surprise appearances on stage with Solange, Kendall and Kylie were there, and Vanessa Hudgens debuted her new long, blonde look. It seemed like everyone was there, and everyone was having the time of their life (so much #FOMO). But, believe it or not, life does go on after Coachella, and we’ve got six more amazing summer music festivals to prove it.
From glamping in Delaware to crashing on a friend’s couch in New York city, here are six summer music festivals that have lineups so good they’ll cure any residual FOMO you have from seeing all your friends Coachella Instagrams (and Snaps, tweets, and status updates). So whether you made it out to Indio, California or not, check out what’s next in the summer music festival scene, and let us know which event you plant to attend in the comments!
1. Sweetlife Festival, May 10, Washington, D.C.
The Sweetlife Festival is the music and food festival started by the creative threesome who founded Sweetgreen, a salad chain that’s been mesmerizing the East Coast with its local ingredients, delicious salads, and commitment to sustainability and living the good life. DC-area food trucks are the icing on the cake at this annual festival that’s as much a celebration of sustainable living as it is a chance to dance around to great music. This year’s festival features headliners Lana Del Ray and Foster the People, and 2 Chainz will be there to mix things up a bit, too.
