This is a big week for the late Amy Winehouse. Her posthumous Lioness:Hidden Treasures, a collection of previously unreleased tracks, was released yesterday. In the UK it sold 70,000 copies the first day out and is set to take the number one spot on the charts.
Coinciding with the release of Lioness, select pieces Winehouse’s final capsule collection with the clothing label Fred Perry went on sale Monday morning. Available exclusively on Fred Perry’s website, profits from the spring line will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. We reported a short while back that her foundation auctioned off the strapless polka dot dress that Winehouse wore on her Back to Black album cover. The dress fetched £43000, proceeds will go to helping the foundation’s charitable work with UK youth. Check out the final Fred Perry Collection here.
