The end of the year inevitably brings best and worst lists on everything from fashion to music to beauty, but some things can’t be disputed. And one of those facts is that Kelly Rowland had the best style year ever.
Now wait, you may be saying there were other, more fashionable ladies than Ms. Rowland. This is true, but 2011 was the year that Kelly topped her own style game and we really saw what she was working with. She wasn’t afraid to show off those lean legs or rock hard abs in designer threads that fit her 5’8 frame perfectly. She never goes wrong in black but she knows how to throw on a pair of bright jeans, bold dress or a sparkling eyeliner or lipstick that make her buttery chocolate skin radiate. 2011 was the year she stopped being referred to as a former member of Destiny’s Child and made her solo mark with the success of “Motivation” and even became a judge on the talent competition, X-Factor.
