While most of your  friends are donning trends like floral prints or pretty pastels, you could stand out as a piece of art–literally. Forever 21 is releasing a not-too-miss collection that celebrates street culture through the works of artists of Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

With prices ranging from $6.80 to $15.80, the collection will feature tank tops and t-shirts for men, and a plethora of goodies for women including skater dresses, swim suits, crop tops, body suits, and skirts.

To catch up you new school kids with the old school artists, Keith Haring came to prominence in the 80s in New York City with his work on subway-car artwork and his pop art including “The Radiant Baby,” which has since become a cultural icon.

Like Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat also had ties with street art and graffiti in the 80s. His paintings and doodles are the influence behind many hip-hop lyrics today. Jay Z once rapped “I got Warhols on my hall’s walls/I got Basquiats in the lobby of my spot,” while Rick Ross’s most recent rap includes: “Red on the wall, Basquiat when I paint.”

You don’t have to be a ballin’ rapper to get your own piece of art. Starting tomorrow, May 23, you can own your own masterpiece when the Forever 21 Artist Series collection hits the stores and the web.
