Kim Kardashian had barely arrived in Paris before she was absorbed into the ranks of her BFF Olivier Rousteing’s “Balmain Army,” aka the posse of models he brought with him to the Vogue Paris Foundation Gala, four of whom are faces in his beautiful and diverse fall advertising campaign.

As one of the six members of the Balmain army at the event–each dressed to the nines in the designer’s Fall 2014 wares (they apparently got dressed at his showroom)–Kim stood out in more ways than one.

First of all, unlike the five other actual models, Kim wasn’t dressed in army green. Instead, she wore a sheer rope top that Binx Walton originally wore on the runway, paired with a leopard pencil skirt that was also part of the collection. The rest of the girls, the authentic army members if you will, made up a cohesive look at some of the more militaristic styles of Rousteing’s fall collection. Also, she’s kind of short,  and definitely sticks out as the littlest of the group, which is actually kind of adorable.

It’s no secret what a fashion fan Kim is, which makes it endearing that even after all the media spotlight and time spent in the fashion world, she was clearly geeking out at the event, posing alongside people like Alber Ebaz of Lanvin, and Mira Dumo and Anna dello Russo–“I love women who are bold! So inspiring!” she said.

Little sis Kendall Jenner was also along for the ride–she’s an official member of the army after all–and towered above Kim. Click through for more photos from their fun night in Paris.

Do you think it’s cute how excited Kim was to be part of the group? Or is she being extra thirsty?
