New York is a month away from Fashion Week, which means preparation takes way now. From editors to production teams and public relations, we will all be a bit insane for the next four weeks.
But in Copenhagen, Denmark shows are going on right now. And the aesthetic is a mix of monochromatic tones, color blocking and sustainable materials.
As reported by The Fashion Spot:
Copenhagen Fashion Week kicks off this week and in the midst of all the fanfare, there is a bit of a serious vibe. The event is hoping to act as a platform to raise awareness and encourage more designers to create sustainable fashion, while enticing consumers to shop smarter when they’re buying clothes. In addition to fashion shows, Copenhagen Fashion Week will have a series of sustainability-focused events.
Outside the shows and “serious vibe” is great street style. We’re talking bright colors, silky fabrics and must-have handbags.
