Happy birthday Kylie Jenner! The youngest Jenner-Kardashian clan member turns 17 today, although it feels like only yesterday we first laid eyes on the fresh faced pre-teen. We've watched her grow into the woman she is today, and one thing is for certain: her appearance has dramatically changed. When we were first introduced to the precocious younger sister of Kim Kardashian on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", back in 2008, the freckle faced pre-teen had not yet come into her own style. Throughout the years we've witnessed her growing pains to find her own stylistic niche, from taking style cues from her older sister-- which led to a few missteps-- to experimenting with trends. Though she has seemingly settled on a 90s grunge aesthetic, we're sure her style will continue to evolve.
While we look forward to seeing the growth and maturity of her style, now we're celebrating her 17th birthday by looking back at her style evolution. Continue on the next pages to see her style journey over the years.
The littlest Kardashian sister experienced a major growth spurt in 2009, and her personal style began to follow suit.
Almost overnight, Kylie had major stems and began to highlight her gams in mini dresses.
Since 2010, she began showing an edgier side, pairing a printed romper with black lace up boots.
Just like her big sisters, Jenner quickly learned to glam it up in bodycon dresses and sky high heels.
She kept the age appropriate professional style rolling with this monochromatic ensemble and super long raven locks.
When she appeared at the launch of her holiday collection-- in collaboration with Pac Sun-- her love affair with booties and crop tops had just begun.
That love of booties and crop tops continued to grow, and she brought back the barely there hemlines.
She later added bold turquoise, maybe to match the backdrop for press photos for her book launch.
The bright blue green locks, the high hemline, and the lace up shoes became style staples for the reality starlet.
These days, she's lost the blue hue, but kept the trifecta: booties, short skirt, crop top.
