Sudanese model, Ataui Deng has been reported missing by a friend and has not been seen for ten days.
Born in Sudan, the 22-year-old was on her way up in the modeling world. Having posed for ELLE France, Zac Posen, Lanvin and Oscar de la Renta her smooth ebony skin and slender frame were her most prominent features. She even posed beside Jourdan Dunn for Rihanna’s River Island campaign last year.
Reports have noted that she went missing over a week ago in New York City’s Lower East Side.
The missing report from her friend reads: MISSING: My friend Ataui Deng has been missing for 10 days. She was last seen in the Lower East Side of New York City. She is 5 feet 10 inches tall and slim. If you see her please email FindAtaui@gmail.com. Thank you.

Ataui-Deng Hopkins was last seen leaving the rooftop XVI Lounge on West 48th Street, near Eighth Avenue, at around midnight on Wednesday, Aug. 6, according to police. Hopkins, who models professionally under the name Ataui Deng, lives on the Lower East Side, police said.
She last posted to Instagram on Aug 2, and has since been mum on social media. Deng’s modeling agency, Trump Management has yet to make a statement regarding her whereabouts.
The New York Police Department found Deng Monday night at a local hospital; she had checked herself in under an alias. The public and a couple celebrities spread the word about the missing model, including Rihanna.

Grant Monohon, Deng’s boyfriend, reported her missing after not hearing from her for days. He and her family say that it’s not unusual for the 6’1″ model to “take off for a day or two” but ten days in, was a definite concern.
The exact hospital she was found it was not revealed and there’s no word on what her ailment was, but she is safe.
