More than just a fast-fashion mega store, Topshop has blazed a trail as a big box boutique that nurtures and encourages up and coming designers. Featuring special capsule collections and helping designers stage presentation at London Fashion Week, Topshop has become the rich uncle that’s down to help brands get their start. Their latest capsule collection is with designer Mary Katrantzou.
Known for her 3-D wallpaper prints and voluminous forms, Katrantzou’s elaborately printed items retail for thousands of dollars in swanky shops like Neiman Marcus, Luisa Via Roma and Net-A-Porter. Thankfully, Topshop has brought some of Katrantzou’s couture-worthy prints down to our level with this collaboration.
