Unless you live somewhere close to the equator (lucky ducks), you’ve felt the temperatures drop significantly over the past week.

Personally, we don’t find anything appealing about winter weather, but as dedicated fashionistas, we must maintain a certain level of style, even when submerged in snow or below zero temps.

Besides the very important winter coat, we need to accessorize and keep our fingers from freezing off simultaneously. This week, our StyleBlazer team found a nice mix of winter finds that will ensure your survival during the fast approaching polar vortex.

ted-baker-muffs

Ted Baker Faux Fur Ear Muffs ($54)– These will protect your ears from the nearly freezing temperatures and keep you looking stylish!

hm-fleece-tights

H&M Fleece Tights ($13)– You can’t go wrong with a pair of fleece lined tights (or leggings) in the winter! They are perfect for pairing with dresses and skirts to stay warm and can also be worn underneath jeans or pants. They’re a definite must-have.

Danielle Kwateng, Senior Editor

stance-socks

Stance B.D.K. Socks ($18)– Yes, they’re a bit pricey but these babies can be washed time and time again, and not lose their elasticity. Also, how cool is this tribute to Big Daddy Kane?!

le-mans-scarf

Le Mans Chunky Scarf ($75)– I’m a total believer in a ridiculously huge jumbo scarf. After internet trolling last year, I discovered that the best options for chunky scarves are all on Etsy.

Kathleen Tso, Associate Editor

urban-outfitter-mittens

Urban Outfitters Faux Fur Mittens ($38)– I keep my fingers from frost bite by keeping them toasty in cozy mittens. I love these fuzzy mittens; they’re super adorable, but will also protect my hands from the biting cold.

nasty-gal-pillbox-hat

Nasty Gal Pillbox Faux Fur Hat ($58)– Opt for a faux fur hat instead of a beanie for maximum warmth!

Nicole Brown, Assistant Editor

ae-leg-warmers

American Eagle Fair Isle Leg Warmers ($20)– I love rocking simple shift dresses in every season and leg warmers are the best way to dress them up for winter.

coco-breezy-sunglasses

Coco and Breezy ‘Rainy Days’ Sunglasses ($125)– Contrary to popular belief, sunglasses aren’t just for the summer time. We’re exposed to just as many UV rays in the winter, so you’ll need stylish sunnies.

Anna Quintana, Assistant Editor

marc-jacobs-beanie

Marc by Marc Jacobs Beanie ($88)– Let your winter accessories do the talking. Seeing as this is my first real winter, I love this Marc by Marc Jacobs “Don’t Panic” beanie.

free-people-pointelle-sock

Free People Pointelle Socks ($24)– These knee-high socks are a fun and stylish alternative to tights on those days that aren’t too cold.

Anayo Awuzie, Editorial Assistant

asos-cape-scarf

ASOS Cape W/ Scarf ($57)– I’ve been wanting an oversized check cape for the winter and this one doubles as a scarf! It’s perfect for wrapping up and keeping warm.

rag-and-bone-beanie

rag & bone ‘Keighley’ Beanie ($150) – Can your head get anymore warm than with a cashmere beanie? I would literally wear this one everyday with no shame.
