Marc Jacobs has a history of working with artists. In fact, one of his crowning moments Louis Vuitton was an artist collaboration — his first for the brand — and that moment vilified Jacobs at the brand. HIs latest collaboration comes under his own brand with Damien Hirst, an artist who is by no means new to the industry.
The three T-shirts(one in black, one in white and a miniature one for the children in your life) feature a print of Hirst’s “Micky” painting. The original piece of art was created by Hirst for Disney and was inspired by Mickey Mouse himself. The painting was then auctioned for over 1.5 million with a portion of proceeds going to Kids Company, an organization that supports inner-city children
Well now, Hirst has brought the print back with this Jacobs team up. These limited-edition tops will also benefit the Kids Company charity and cost $98($58 for the children’s size). Ready to cop your own? Marc Jacobs stores as well as Other Criteria stores are stocking the pieces.
