StyleBlazer Beauty: Can You Rock Out With The Long Oval Nail Trend? (As Seen On Keke Palmer, Cassie & Amber Rose)

Celebs from Rihanna to Cassie to Keke Palmer are rocking the long oval nail trend. Some like Cassie even go as far as adding rhinestone and 3D embellishments further adding to the “how does she even type?” look. We dig it, but for practicality, we honestly couldn’t see ourselves rocking them around the office—imagine one flying into a computer screen as we furiously type out the hotness we bring you daily.

But what do YOU think, StyleBlazers? Could you rock it?

I wish celebrities would bring back the concept of “classy”.  I miss seeing elegant women in the spotlight…they were inspirational and beautiful. These gaudy, tacky women in Hollywood will be nothing to remember in the future.

Oval nails are prettier and more classic than ugly tacky square shaped tips! Besides oval nails are all the rage on the runways and editorial high fashion spreads. Square tips look so cheap.

I GUESS ITS TRUE WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT AQUARIANS….WHAT WE’VE DONE YEARS AGO THE WORLD WILL CATCH UP TO LATER…..I ROCKED THIS IN 1999-2000 SENIOR YEAR…I LOOK AT THIS TREND LIKE REALLY YALL JUST GETTIN ON THIS ISH…NEXT!

  24. says:

Learn ur shapes ovals aren’t sharp. These are claws and by no means do they look natural. Keep in mind these are girls/ women that don’t live normal lives where they have to do anything manual. Lets back away from the Freddy Kreuger’s!

  25. says:

Your nails actually grow into that shape. These women just get the acrylics & shape them a little more pointy. My friend gets her rounded, but not as pointy as some of the girls & they look nice. They are more classy looking than the normal acrylic tips that are squared.

  26. says:

This look, dubbed “stiletto nails,” is def trending in my area.  Personally, I like my nails natural, short, neat, and polished, with maybe a one-finger design – or the basic French or American manicure.  The pointy look works for the runway or a hair and nail expo, not for everyday life.
