We all mourned the loss of Kate Spade Saturday — likely a little too much honestly as the products are being rolled into the Kate Spade main line — as well as the brother brand Jack Spade. It seems like just yesterday that we were at the height of that morning… oh ok well maybe it was. But now there’s good news for Kate Spade, they are launching kidswear!

“We saw early promise in children swear, including our collaboration with Gap Kids for the holiday season, and we are excited for the debut of Kate Spade children’s collection in the next few weeks,” said CEO Craig A. Leavitt.

The details are a little loose but at least we know it’s coming! The idea of the brand’s preppy, colorful wares cut down to the size of little tots sounds nothing short of precious and we already know it is! The Gap collaboration that they did for the holidays was the cutest little range of tights and came sweatshirts for girls and boys ranging in price from $20 to $130.

There’s nothing confirmed on where the brand will sell the designs — online only, in only Kate Spade stores, girls’ with Kate Spade and boys’ with Jack Spade — but we’re sure all will be revealed soon enough. Till then, you can shop the leftovers from that Gap collaboration.
