Cafeteria: 119 7th Ave, New York, NY 10010
“They have the best french toast. It’s super fluffy and the flavor is amazing. I recommend the fried chicken and waffles also. I could eat it every day.”

Maison Harlem: 341 Saint Nicholas Ave, New York, NY 10027
“I get the chicken paillard. It’s breaded chicken with a light salad. It sounds boring but it definitely doesn’t taste boring. It has this really rich flavor and the fried chicken isn’t too heavy.”

Allswell: 124 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211
“I always go for the crispy chicken sandwich and a draft beer. It’s so cozy and quaint. I love going on a Sunday afternoon. Brooklyn definitely has some of the best brunch spots.”

Mother’s Ruin: 18 Spring St, New York, NY 10012
“They have hands down one of my favorite burgers. Again, this is a super small bar, but their food is so good! I love it for brunch, or a place to meet friends at night.”

St. Anselm: 355 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211
While a table for dinner at this rustic Williamsburg gem will cost you a pretty three-hour wait, brunch is much easier to get a seat. Not to mention, they serve the same mouthwatering steak that their dinner has become known for during brunch hours, only with a side of eggs. While my boyfriend always opts for the steak, my favorite dish has to be the Grilled BLT. Everything is grilled to perfection, from the bun to the lettuce to the hunks of bacon they put on top. It’s pretty much taste perfection.
Talde: 369 7th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215
“This awesome Pan-Asian restaurant in Park Slope has become a recent brunch favorite for it’s creativity and just overall deliciousness. Go with a group so you can taste everything! Some of my favorite dishes include the breakfast ramen, bacon and egg pad thai, and kung pao chicken wings with waffles. Wash it all down with a great bloody mary and you’ll be one happy bruncher.”
Mission Cantina: 172 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002
“Perfect for brunch earlybirds, everyday from 9-1130AM. This funky LES joint serves up a special Vietnamese breakfast menu… aka my dream! (I’m half Vietnamese). Their Vietnamese coffee is one of the best ways to wake up, and every dish is packed with amazing flavor. When I’m in the mood for more of a breakfast dish I order the Broken Rice platter, and if I want something more hearty the Lamb Pho has some of the best broth I’ve ever tasted!

Bubby’s: 120 Hudson St, New York, NY 10013
“I absolutely LOVE this place for brunch. The food is delicious and the ambiance is warm and cozy. I started coming here almost 4 years ago and got hooked on their Griddle Special (Bubby’s pancakes, farm eggs, chicken sausage). Their sourdough pancakes are the fluffiest I’ve ever had!”

The Standard Grill: 848 Washington Street, at 13th Street, The Standard, High Line, New York, NY 10014
“If you want a scenic experience for brunch, you’ll love The Standard Grill. It’s right near the gorgeous Highline. Meet up with friends for the whole wheat waffle (delish!) / soft scrambled eggs / orange juice and brioche donuts, then take a walk on the Highline. Perfect day.”

Le Barricou: 533 Grand Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211
“An adorable French Bistro tucked in East Williamsburg although it truly feels like Paris without being kitschy. Order an excellent & spicy Bloody Mary to wash down delicious Croque Madame. Plate sized and super thick pancakes are a must for ‘desert’ after brunch.”

Beco: 45 Richardson Street Brooklyn NY 11211
“Boho Brazilian with an amazing brunch deal – $15 for entree (I highly recommend the steak & eggs) coffee & a cocktail. Always go for the Caipirinha! Especially fabulous when the weather is nice so you can take a stroll in McCarren Park post brunch.”

Campbell’s Cheese: 502 Lorimer St Brooklyn NY 11211
“More of a great pit-stop for a quick breakfast bite, Campbell’s serves a small but mighty menu of brunch foods including banana bread, biscuits & gravy or my favorite bacon, egg & cheese sandwich with fig jam.”

RubiRosa NYC: 235 Mulberry St, New York, NY 10012
“It is in a fun location and the food is just to die for. It’s unique because the restaurant attracts costumers from all over the place. It’s a fun place to people watch.”

Momofuku Noodle Bar: 171 1st Avenue, New York, NY 10003
“The ramen is so good! Out of all the ramen or noodle bars in NYC, this one is the one everyone goes to. It’s a place to see and be seen. The spicy miso ramen that has smoked chicken, poached egg, and sesame. It’s perfect on a cold day. Serious comfort food.”

SoCo Brooklyn: 509 Myrtle Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11205
“Soco is amazing of course for dinner with all its southern-infused cuisine and intimate seating, but you definitely want to come early for brunch. Why? The red velvet waffle with buttermilk fried chicken. Trust me, on cheat day you need it.”

Cafeteria: 119 7th Ave, New York, NY 10010
“A NYC treasure that will never get old for me. Fried chicken and waffles? Check. Eggs that make you want to sing Keith Sweat’s greatest hits? Check. And the truffle macaroni and cheese? LIFE. CHANGING.”

Talde: 369 7th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215
“Their breakfast ramen is perfection in a bowl. Plus the tater tots with Sriracha ketchup and wings are genius. A long wait as you would imagine, but well worth it.”

Alchemy Restaurant & Tavern: 56 5th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217
“Their french fries are good, but it’s really the garlic mayo that goes with the fries (that you have to ask for) that makes Alchemy special. Their garden in the back during the spring and summer make for extra enjoyment.”

Sweet Chick178 Ludlow St, New York, NY 10002
“I’ve only been to the Brooklyn location, but they just opened one in LES. This place puts a really cool spin on chicken and waffles. Not only are these the best waffles I’ve ever had, but you can get special varieties such as Bacon & Cheddar Waffles or Sundried Tomato & Basil. You also get three flavored butters: lemon, berry, and rosemary- use them all!! The Mac & Cheese is a must-get too.”
Tutu’s172 Orchard St, New York, NY 10002
“I’m more of a savory brunch person than your typical eggs or sweet brunch. I love Tutu’s brunch for hungover weekend vibes, especially in the warmer weather when you can sit out front. The burgers here are KILLER, but I really come for the Nutella Stuffed French Toast.”

“I LOVE the egg white omelets and truffle fries at both along with a Bloody Mary.”

The Waverly Inn: 16 Bank St, New York, NY 10014
Also, I love both because the atmosphere, food and how comfortable the seating is. Also Waverly Inn has a great backyard area which is perfect for summer.”
