8 Celebrities That We Never Want To See In Braids (Never Ever Again!)

8 Celebrities That We Never Want To See In Braids (Never Ever Again!)

Braids… Usually reserved for growing children whose parents can’t be bothered with doing their hair everyday, was once overused by our favorite celebrities, in ways we would all like to forget. No matter how “cool” they thought they looked, wearing braids one caused these people to be on someone’s worst dressed list. Here are 8 celebrities that we never ever (ever) want to see in braids again. In life! Do Indulge…

Justin Timberlake

Really JT, what were you thinking?

It may have worked for her during her “I Wanna Be Down” days, but once she hit “The Boy Is Mine,” braids in any style should have been a wrap for her.

Christina Aguilera

Christina was convinced that her bleached blonde extensions were cute, wearing them everywhere and in every way, but not once did she pull them off correctly.

Once upon a time, before Beyoncé was introduced to lace front wigs, you couldn’t tell her her weaved up braids weren’t nice. Now we can!

Kim Kardashian

Even if it was short-lived and she was channeling Bo Derek, these braids should have never appeared on Kim K.

To this day we are unsure what style Ciara was trying to pull off adding these cornrows to the mix. No matter how pretty she is and what model pose she’s in, these braids never translated well.

Jim Jones

Jimmy had to be one of the last man on the planet holding on to his cornrows. Over 30 rocking braids is just a big NO, NO, NO!

  • lady0510

    lmao JT

  • Shllshlltyler

I thought Brandy looked pretty with her braids bt it was time to retire that look lol

  • His6sweety

    Sorry but Jim is HOTTT!!!!!

  • mikki

everyone in the bible had braids in there head so why would U guys say something like this? This is our heritage

  • Reginastokes Rs

I Like K.K.’s braids. Lol. She had the BEST STYLIST!

  • Reginastokes Rs

I knew Cierra was rough around the edges, but with the conrows she was caught up in one of Trey Songz Moment.

  • Reginastokes Rs

Is that A Braid Wig MJB is wearing? (shrugging my shoulders)
I’ve NEVER really See HER WEAR HER HAIR.

  • Mushdagrt

How did coolio not make this list …

  • sexxy

I don’t get this, because braids are regular hair style for us in Africa.

  • J A SASSY aka salon22w

I never ever want to see braids on any white person.. they liik netter on blacks and thats their heritage.. so sick of white folks copying… their hair doesnt hold the braids right anyway and JT looks like a fool.. cant stand him anyway!

  • Actually I like Ciara’s braids…they look like goddess braids just not as chunky.

  • Kari

i dont know what you all are talking about. Ciara and Mary J look great!

    • lucascott

To me Ciara’s braids are too large. But I do agree about Mary. I think they look great on her. And something more that style would probably look great on Ciara

  • miche

blacks look good with braids, locs, twists, cornrows, micros, tie knots or whatever other kinds of braiding there is…you just need to know which kind will fit you, now on the other hand, I’m sorry to say to my white brothers and sisters, but they don’t roll over too well with you all…stick to the straight styles…well, actually I’ll just say those without any texture to their hair.

    • lucascott

I do agree that most whites and guys from either group, don’t do braids well which is why they look ridiculous

  • Frenchmocha83

I thoughtFlava Flav would be on this list for sure.  I thought Snoop would be too, but I guess we’ll save him for the List of People Who Shouldn’t Wear Pigtails.

    • tesha

      lol that’s jacked up

  • tesha

    i didn’t know that was him lol…lol

  • Rita Haynes65

White people look so stupid with braids. I”m sure they broke her hair off. GOOD!!!!!! Each race has their own hair styles. Last I heard braids came from Africa. For black women to be considered the least attractive by hollywood standards, why are white women wanting to look like us. Full lips, hair, big asses, darker skin, fake breasts. Everything black women were God given. So glad I was born black.

  • jayrich2u

I liked Beyonce’s braids. A very nice style. And Brandy can still wear braids–just not those juvenile styles. Stop trippin’!

  • Kat

what is with all this hating on braids???   who the HECK figures that braids are only for kids??  LAME.

  • Cjames

Actually, I thought Justin Looked cute with his braids, but Kim Kardasian looked like Cher did in the 1970’s when she was rockin her cornrolls, they looked great on Cher, but not good on Kim.

  • Lady Belle

Brandy MADE braids and was a style icon..

  • Lady Belle

All these people look cute with these braids what are ya’ll talkin about!!?

  • Diamondgrl220

Really where is COOLIO. One of the worst braid offenders ever!

  •  This list is a joke. Some of these artists looked wonderful with braids such as Beyonce and Brandy.
When I saw the title of the list, I knew who would be number 1 but you don’t even have him on the list.

Number 1 should have been Axl Rose of Guns and Roses.

    • gunnarmoon

Axl Rose was badass with his braids! TF you been smoking?

  • Ohhhh Justin. But thankfully, he has more than made up for this look.

  •  I just saw that and thought wth is wrong with his hair? I think it was a bad wig.

  • humphreyshanee

Funny because ALL styles of braids are on their way back! Brandy had them in her video and Beyonce was seen wearing thebig box braids of the 90’s! Braids is a heritage thing, and despite what style or who is wearing them, they are iconic! Find something NEW to discuss with style and refrain from making the Black community (and others that join our brother/sisterhood) feel as if its a big NO NO cause its NOT!!!

  • >.> Really?

Op is just a hater half of these people looked decent in their braids.

  • Christina Aguilera is amazing
